Is This Right for You?

This program may be a fit if you:

  • Have tried diet and exercise changes without lasting results
  • Have a weight-related health concern like high blood pressure, prediabetes, or sleep apnea
  • Want medical guidance rather than an app or a subscription box
  • Prefer a provider who knows your full health history, not just your weight

Not sure? Book a consultation and we'll talk it through honestly. If a different approach would serve you better, Dr. Harding will tell you.

Your Care

What Your Program Includes

Full medical evaluation

A review of your health history, current medications, labs, and any conditions that affect weight — so your plan is built on the whole picture.

Medication management

If medication is appropriate for you, Dr. Harding discusses the options, explains how each works, monitors your response, and adjusts as needed.

Nutrition & lifestyle guidance

Practical changes that fit your actual routine, not a rigid meal plan you'll abandon in three weeks.

Ongoing check-ins

Regular follow-up visits to track progress, manage side effects, and adjust your plan as your body responds.

Lab monitoring

Bloodwork ordered and reviewed as needed to keep the process safe and measure real change.

Simple & Convenient

How It Works

  1. Consultation

A full visit to review your history, goals, and whether a medically supervised program makes sense for you. Virtual or in person.

  2. Your plan

Dr. Harding builds a plan together with you, including whether medication is appropriate and what to expect.

  3. Follow-through

Scheduled check-ins to monitor progress and adjust. You're not left to figure it out alone.

What to Expect

Weight loss medication isn't right for everyone, and results vary from person to person. What we can promise is a careful evaluation, a clear explanation of your options, and a provider who monitors your progress closely.

Some people are not candidates for medication due to their health history. If that's you, Dr. Harding will explain why and discuss the alternatives.

Cost & Coverage

What It Costs

Weight loss services are covered by some plans and not others, and coverage for medication varies widely. We verify your specific benefits before your visit and tell you what it will cost — before you commit to anything.

Self-pay pricing is available for consultations and follow-ups.

Questions

Weight Loss FAQ

Do I have to come in person?

Most weight loss visits can be done virtually. Some situations call for an in-person visit — vitals, a physical exam, or certain labs — and we'll schedule that at the Woodbridge clinic when needed.

Will you prescribe weight loss medication on the first visit?

Not automatically. The first visit is an evaluation. If medication is appropriate for your health history, Dr. Harding will discuss the options with you and explain the plan before anything is prescribed.

Does insurance cover this?

It depends on your plan and, for medication, on your pharmacy benefits. We check your coverage in advance and walk you through what's covered before you owe anything.

How often are follow-up visits?

Typically every few weeks early on, then spacing out as your plan stabilizes. Your schedule is set based on how you're responding.
